Mobility

Mobility is a wireless, handheld vision system which will
OCV (optical character verification) multiple anti-theft stickers located in difficult to access locations on the vehicle.  Mobility can also be used to verify features on or in a part which cannot be viewed with a conventional fixed- mount vision inspection.

An operator easily & quickly scans the label or part on the fly. Once the data is received, the PC or plant network data server stores the data, verifying against build data, and the application releases the scanner to again trigger an inspection .  Results are communicated in a packet containing system status, providing automated traceability.

Mobility has a software module that was developed based upon the Cognex Dataman hardware platform. Mobility includes a wireless Cognex Dataman 7550 LR handheld imaging devices (or equivalent). For more information about Mobility, download:
